Portraits
Portrait drawing can either be approached with a single session sketch or in a long sitting. Single sessions aim to capture the immediate likeness and energy of the subject in a limited timeframe, using broad strokes and a focus on form. Long sittings, often spread over days or weeks, allow for the creation of a more detailed and refined work which explores a fuller expression of the subject’s personality.
